Lamington National Park

Located 50 km from the Gold Coast, Lamington National Park was established in 1915 to protect the unique flora and fauna of the world's largest and oldest subtropical rainforest. These forests emerged on Earth during the time of the supercontinent Gondwana and now hold World Heritage status.

Lamington is a place where pristine nature reigns. You will find breathtaking landscapes, exotic plants, swimming in crystal-clear waterfalls, and encounters with rare species of animals and birds, including the lyrebird, the king parrot, and the spotted-tailed quoll.

The park consists of two parts: Binna Burra and Green Mountains. Both offer an extensive network of hiking trails of varying difficulty, with a total length of about 160 km, as well as the opportunity to stay in a comfortable camp.
