The Yarra Valley vineyards spread out comfortably not far from Melbourne. As the coolest wine-growing region in Australia, it produces classic varieties such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Shiraz. The Yarra Valley was the first region in the state of Victoria to plant grapevines in 1838. Since then, much water has flowed, and even more local wine, whose popularity has long extended beyond the borders of Australia. If you are a true wine connoisseur, you should definitely visit the Yarra Valley.
